A Gatbsy site built with MDX pages for some of the more text heavy sections. I used Styled-Components to write all the CSS for the components by hand.
AirBnb's Lottie was used for animations. It allows for a JSON export containing all the animation data needed for complex animations.
I spent quite a while on this site coming up with colourful and playful designs. Most of the work was done in illustrator and the animation in After Effects.
Performance
Using Gatbsy to generate this site produced great scores on Chromes Lighthouse tool. Check them out below:
